I went into this book blind because all I needed to know was that Jason Clark was the narrator, but I am pleasantly surprised by how fucking good this book is

Almost done with my reread, and this book is definitely still not as good a the first one, and for sure sets things up, at this point I think this was the whole purpose of this second book, but I’m okay with that. I feel like we needed this in order to love forward in the story. It’s giving classic fantasy rather than romantasy.

I’m pretty sure this is not meant to be funny, but I can’t stop giggling. I love it.

Really great story. Reads like an intricately crafted tv show. I don’t know how this is gonna wrap up, but it feels like there should be a second book in the series.

The fact that I only have about 2 hours left of the audiobook is giving me serious anxiety, considering the next book in the series doesn’t come out until October of next year!

Surprisingly really cute!

Yooooooooooo WTF. A cougar!!!! This might be a 5 star! I’m gonna have to take a deep dive into all those backlist books.

My first foray with this author duo. In the past I haven't picked up books by them because they "looked" too cute and fluffy and teen, which is not what I enjoy. However, I stumbled upon this book with the new cover and saw that it was reverse harem, and that is 100% up my alley. Then I found out this throuple would have 3 books, and I was all in. so far, I am surprised by how good this book is!

This author is definitely not for me. I love the male characters. They are the best part. They literally make me lol. However the FMC is horrible. I understand she’s in a terrible situation, but she does nothing to try to get out of it. She even has 2 people close to her who know what’s going on & they don’t help her. Makes no damn sense. Why are we writing females this week and unable to care for themselves.

Dis not like the start of the book from the FMC POV, but I pushed through. The Male POV is MUCH MUCH better. Fingers crossed.

I have 55 minutes left in the audiobook, but I can’t finish because I’m at work! Work is always getting in the way of my best reading life!
