One of those books I could have finished by now but purposely taking it slow because I don’t want it to end.

I love how she portrays womanhood, even when it’s terrifying it’s still so beautiful and earthly

not even trying to start the year off on a lighthearted note

I’m listening to it on audio for white noise while I’m working and I can already say wholeheartedly that the movie is better

it’s not horrible I just need good rich prose to really love a book and this is straight genre fiction which is not to slander the writing but it’s just not feeding me, you know?

While reading Atmosphere I figured I should juxtapose that experience by listening to the most hypermasculine void-of-all-emotion audiobook I could think of and this was the obvious choice. Jokes aside Bourdain is an excellent writer and I thank god I am no longer a waitress

Ok already I love Backman’s writing style. Funny and witty and then you get punched in the chest
