Having been totally immersed in this book, I have reached its gripping end an emotionally rung-out wreck. As someone navigating the senior years myself, this touched many a raw nerve. Tears aside, I will myself recover sufficiently to battle on sucking the marrow out of the bones of life because it is precious and love is the most precious of gifts we are given. Everything else is dross in comparison
