I can’t listen to true crime because the victims are almost always women. I grew up being coached through kidnapping scenarios. I was taught techniques that might help me escape someone.

This book is excellent. Women are often the victims of heinous crimes at the hands of men, and other men allow it.

This book is frustrating and lost its allure. The mystery, the thrill between the pages, is erased by the main characters’ complete stupidity and lack of plot furthering. This doesn’t even feel like a sequel to the same book.
