i am into this so far, and pleasantly surprised! it is much more lit fic than any of the genres i had preemptively assigned to it, and it is not at all too techy or gamery, which is why it wasn't on my tbr despite hearing good things. it's not particularly enthralling, but i don't have much clue where we're headed so i'm invested. i like the audiobook too- at first i despised the narrator but she's grown on me

i just LOVE sybil she's such a baddie and her little love triangle at 77 is so cunty! also, theodore🥹! this book is so good and unique (kinda) (and came across my desk at the perfect time since i've been on my own correspondence journey) i'm really iffy on the audio though- i feel like it adds SO MUCH- i love all the narrators, especially sybil, but i feel like it can be a bit annoying/confusing at times

so into this!! bring back snail mail! definitely wishing i read it in person though, have a feeling this one will be one of those i go back and reread once i pick up a paper copy, and probably annotate lol

okay this book is fantastic but i'm ngl it loses me a little bit when it gets too deep into the physics of it all like let's get back to philosophy please haha i don't have the time for research sidequets rn (but i know i'll end up rereading this and trying to dig into the stuff i didn't REALLY get this time around)

about halfway through- picked this book up again (audio) a few days ago, but it is so informarive and interesting!! i feel safe at this point in recommending it to literally anyone who resonates with, works with, or is trying to work through some type if trauma.

took a long hiatus on this one but picked up where i left off and finished that chapter this morning:)

this book is SO GOOD- i feel like it's the first one where i am so equally invested in each characters POV and i'm so invested in what i'm reading but also can't wait to get to all the other stories. i'm really hoping to finish this this weekend but i know i will feel no relief cuz there will just be more questions to be answered in the next book... OBSESSED with ephraim's chapters rn and his hadn't been my favorites

dnf @ 6% - i already know it's not for me and am not in the business of wasting my time by getting into a book i already know i'm not gonna really enjoy...

dnf-ing @35%- i HATE dnfing but am trying to do it more cuz there is just too much good shit out there to read but like do i count this to my goodreads goal or not cuz i fear the answer is not:(
