I forgot how much I disliked Maryse in the original trilogy, but I dislike her even more after reading The Infernal Devices. As head of an institute, she’s got NOTHING on smart, compassionate Charlotte.

Long past time for a re-read, I think.

2 years since I read Crown of Midnight and 2.5 since Throne of Glass. I thought it would come back to me as I started reading, as usually happens. Wrong. I don’t remember a goddamn thing and have no idea what’s going on or who anyone is 🙃

The cool thing about reading on Kindle is you get to play a fun game of “who’s going to hook up with who later on in the series” based on the Frequently Highlighted Passages. Plot-wise right now, I’d be very surprised if this happened, but based on the Kindle Highlights I’m betting that Adam and Ronan are going to get together. Let’s see if I’m right...
