Heather is starting When in Doubt, Add Butter

On Chapter 3/~54mins into the audiobook. I only just made a connection to the book. Beautifully written chapter on MC's experience as a teen mother. Her experience of finding out straight thru to the clarity in her decision to give the baby up for adoption, and even how her character still knows this was the right decision is just really well told well.

I find the memories of their childhood more interesting then the story of who they are as adults. It just has an oppressive feeling to me. Like I'm under a heavy quilt in summer.

Can't believe how much I'm enjoying this book. It's cute, and sweet, and awkward, and so captures those all of those feelings that I remember having as a teen myself. Seriously can't believe I'm liking a romance!

Super cute, feels very down to earth & the conversations feel genuine to the way people really do talk! Only one thing... What's up with the fancy schmancy vocabulary? It's starting to feel like a vocabulary assignment and the author needs to fit obscure words every few paragraphs. The words would fit in a Jane Austin novel... Feels rather forced in Saved Wishes.
