This book is really really good, but the misogyny is distracting to me. While it's written by two women, the way "chicks" are portrayed in this book irritates me a lot: needy, clingy, sexualized, or currently in the kitchen 🫠 unnecessary! At least it was written in 2015, I guess.

So because I'm a fucking addict, I'm diving head first into the next gay hockey novel. But this isn't Rachel Reid, so at 13% progress there has been zero sexual tension between the dudes but in contrast, there's been lots of hockey talk. Not convinced yet. Good book to fall asleep to. So far.

I'm reading this steamy lesbian romcom in the hopes of gently moving on from Rachel Reid's Heated Rivalry universe, which has had me in its clutches for weeks and weeks. So far I'm incredibly amused, still waiting for the spice, though.

I hope this will soften the fall after finishing The Long Game

Constantly gasping

So this is one of these instances where I'm finally reading a book after having it on my tbr for almost 10 years. And it shows. I'm diving into the emotional world of an eighteen year old - whilst being 34 myself. So far, this has reminded me of my early 20s, a fond feeling. No regrets.

So yeah, after receiving this in the mail and looking at it: this must be AI. What a thrilling world we live in nowadays.
