I seriously don't feel the chemistry between these two, it just feels cringe when she is swooning and all that.

I get it that she is a flawed character and all that, but does she have to denigrate Thomil every chance she gets just because he is Kwen? It really gets on my nerves. Especially when she is being denigrated herself by being a woman. It's a bit hypocritical. I really hope she either changes her ways or at least apologizes.

Basically, Xavier says that his attraction towards Sloane is mind-consuming, he looks at her and cannot breathe because of how attracted he is to her.
But their tension is bland af? I know I am saying this only 10% into the book, but it should definitely be obvious already.
How could she write a chemistry like Jules and Josh and then be so bland with all the other couples? 😫

I don't like the writing style too much but it's alright. One thing I really don't enjoy is the back and forth in time, it makes the plot quite a bit chaotic.

How can anybody take this book seriously? 😅 it's so silly, the guy being 31 and still behaving like a spoiled, narcissistic teenager? Mmh..

It also annoys me that everytime the pov changes, the story goes back a bit so we always see the same scene told twice. It doesn't even add anything to the story.

Honestly, I'll only keep on reading this cause I'm already this far. I liked it in the beginning, but I'm not liking it. The plot premise was amazing, I really liked it but then it got worse. Especially the budding romance between the FMC and the MMC. There is no freaking chemistry, they talked 2 times and they are head over heels for each other. It's a fucking trauma response! not love! goddamn

I'm shipping Devon and Tanner so much it's funny, cause they only had 2 very short interactions so far 😂
