god help me im going to get through this historical fan fiction if it kills me. i care more about the narrator ghost

hi all please weigh in. do i add on here something that is original fiction but published currently online only but will (apparently) be in a published book next year that i will not read? think like... how the martian or john dies at the end were both originally published online. or is this cheating for my goodreads goal (that i didn't set yet)? it's novella-length and DOES have a goodreads page.

this is a library book and, look i guess i didn't read the summary on goodreads and instead read it somewhere else because i didn't realize it was like... historical RPF about Frederic Chopin and George Sand and also a gay teen ghost. was reading it like.... "a pianist named chopin? is this like... the actual pianist...??" sorry. sorry.

i know i said it before but the 90s hacking scenes are sooo funny they are so fun, i love it. maybe i'll finally play and actually beat original system shock 1 (NOT the remake THEY GOT RID OF THE GOOFY 90S SYNTH MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!)

yes i think my mom is posting her kindle updates to my goodreads account. no i haven't deleted her updates. i just need to outpace her (and then delete the updates later because i do NOT want this shit inflating my count on my reading challenge. if i wanted to do that i would have posted each volume of the mob psycho manga and hit my goal last year and also this year in like april)

my secret is that i've been reading this for like 5 months and it is NOT a long book but it is such slow going. it's not even dense i think i just don't care

slowly but surely I'm gonna knock a few books out of my "currently reading". maybe not dune though. but..... you never know......

i need everyone to know that this may well be the worst book my book club has EVER picked and i hate it so much but i'm challenging myself to see how far i get until i call it quits. it's very, very bad.

i read what feels like half the book and it turns out it was only like 30 pages. how

i agreed to this for book club because i know what to expect with her writing which is "readable but boring". i wish she had a co-author where she could write all the worldbuilding but then the co-author could write the actual stories because then it would be interesting

honestly i don't really love this series but they're ok
