hi all please weigh in. do i add on here something that is original fiction but published currently online only but will (apparently) be in a published book next year that i will not read? think like... how the martian or john dies at the end were both originally published online. or is this cheating for my goodreads goal (that i didn't set yet)? it's novella-length and DOES have a goodreads page.

There are literal fanfics with pages on here, if people can count THAT toward their goal you can absolutely use a full original novella, ESPECIALLY if it's gonna be pubbed.
