Loved this book. There is a quote in it I like: "Labor to keep alive in your breast that little spark of celestial fire called conscience." Sally, one of the four main characters says she once embroidered this maxim onto a pillow. It is from Francis Hawkins' Rules of Civility & Decent Behavior.

I am reading this in sections. Just finished the Prologue and Part 1 (Cotton Mather).

Very good. Funny! I recommend it.

Love some of the art projects that artists do here that have to do with nature.

This is one of my favorite books. It’s funny and about being “all in” for God.

I am enjoying the book, but Im halfway through and the author has not made the connection yet between the alternating stories of Vivien circa 1919 and Claire (1960s era).

I love this by James Dillet Freeman on page 26

This book doesn't have page numbers. I am looking forward to reading the entry for May 28 tomorrow, "Unquestioned Revelation."

I didn't start at the beginning of this book. That is one of the things I like about reading non-fiction. I can start anywhere I like. So, far I like it and I am learning about sympathetic and parasympathetic shock people experience from events beyond their control.

I am eating up this book! Thankfully it is deep.I read "The Shack" by the same author and loved it.I want to know more about William T. Young.
