Just started.

Just getting started but it's a little slow. Hopefully it picks up a bit.

So far, so good. Deeper than I expected, which is great. Much more extensive character development than you normally see in military SF.

A little slow - I'm sticking with it because the Recluse series gets such good buzz, but I hope it picks up a bit.

Excellent book - looks like a must read for anyone who likes Martin, Jordan and other multi-volume epic fantasy.

Deep characterizations that make you care, and also great new magic system (Sanderson is the master of this; read the Mistborn books also) and great battle scenes. I think that this is the first of 10 so there's plenty more to come. Can definitely fill the time while waiting for Dance with Dragons.

I like this a lot so far. Simple, clear writing style but a fairly dense plot.

Starting out very well! Clearly written and starting to develop the characters well. Already laying out some questions that are keeping me interested. Great value at Amazon also - $0.89 download.
