Excellent book - looks like a must read for anyone who likes Martin, Jordan and other multi-volume epic fantasy.

Just getting started but it's really good. Deep characterizations that make you care, and also great new magic system (Sanderson is the master of this; read the Mistborn books also) and great battle scenes. I think that this is the first of 10 so there's plenty more to come. Can definitely fill the time while waiting for Dance with Dragons.
