I assume this is geared towards very young, emotional, and impressionable teens…. So it’s a little alarming how many pages and how much detail are put into exactly how the FMC plans to kill herself.

I don’t trust myself to pick books anymore. This is the most heavy handed, melodramatic nonsense I’ve read in a long time.

Why is this marketed like a thriller? What am I missing? Absolutely nothing has happened except she stole the chick’s sunglasses lol

I hate reviewing memoirs because by nature they’re so personal - and, to be fair, this one really was inspiring and entertaining. For a lazy person, I’m oddly obsessed with ultramarathons, and the author really did overcome a lot in order to achieve a ton of cool accomplishments.

That being said, she really needs a better editor. There were so many mistakes. And she comes across as being wildly selfish…

I’ve almost DNF this book 20x. I absolutely love the premise but the FMC is so insufferable and selfish I almost wish they’d hurry up and give up already 🤣

Hold up, so the hotel owner’s daughter just shortened her name from Victoria to Tori and now she’s supposedly incognito and nobody knows who she is??!! And she proceeds to immediately ask everyone she doesn’t know awkward questions about a murder and thinks nobody is suspicious??!

These bring me back to my Dee Henderson days. I’m hooked!!!!
