Reading for the third time. This time I've started reading it to Sam.

So far I'm not all that impressed. Despite an advertisement in the acknowledgements section at the beginning for a proof reading service there were already a few errors in the first 10 pages. And one of my pet peeves, referring to paddling a canoe as 'oaring' a canoe. Hopefully the story can make up for the poor writing and errors.

Another fun collection of stories about the Endless! Not a single cohesive story like the other collections, but fun nonetheless.

Started reading this as a pre-read before letting Mike read it. So far it's childish, but enjoyable.

750ish... There are no page numbers, but I'm getting ready to start Chapter 7 of 8. So far I'm liking it, but I think the show did a much better job with adding mystery and character development. This is entertaining, but I think the show makes you think even more. Overall I'm happy with the changes the show made, maybe I'd feel different if I had read the books first. But I'm really happy with the books, too.

This is a LOT of Spider-Man. Julie's been reading this to Sam, too. She's working her way through it for the second time. Sam is addicted to Spider-Man. He could sit through these stories for hours on end. And honestly, they're not all that bad. From what I know of the comics (which admittedly is very little) these stories seem to be very true to the original stories.

I've been reading this to Sam. He'll actually sit through as many pages as we have time for. Yesterday it was 80 pages, today another 45. Someone has a Spider-Man addiction!

What a relief it is to be reading something engrossing again. After the last two books I read I'm very happy with this so far. Yes, there are a lot of grammatical errors (especially mixed tenses) and a lot of cleanup that could use a professional editor, but this is a great story. No dwadling, no beating around the bush. The story jumps right into the action and it hasn't really let up at all. I'm a happy reader!

Almost done. This book was minutely better than the previous one. I haven't decided if I want to suffer through the third one when it comes out or not... I'm not sure I care enough about the overall story to spend my time on it.

I'm slowly working my way through this. It's slightly better than the first one, but still tough to get through...

So far this is slow going and tough to get into. I just started Part 2 and I'm not too sure how it's going to all tie in to the first part. The first part was an odd mixture between fast pacing (sometimes days or months would be covered in the span of a paragraph or two) and tedious dialog that was difficult to follow. If I hadn't won book 2 I'd probably have put it down already and moved on to something else.

I'm reading this again, this time to Mike at night. We'll see how he likes it.

So far this is right up there with all the other post-Coyote, Coyote novels. I'm definitely enjoying it.

I started reading this to Mike at night. He thinks it's neat that he gets to read a book by the same author as A Dance with Dragons, which I just read last month, and Game of Thrones, which he knows we watched on TV.
