I've been listening to this on Audible Plus. As I'm taking a break from my Audible membership, I have to stop reading this for the moment, and am leaving this as a reminder to myself of where I've got to with it - end of 'Chapter 28' according to the 'chapter' breaks on Audible which almost certainly aren't the same as the chapter breaks in a written version of the book.

I wrote a review but then realised I'd missed 3 stories in the middle of the book somehow! (Dangers of reading on a kindle.) So I need to read them before posting the review.

In case anyone's wondering why I'm reading these one after the other, it's to check age suitability for my daughter, not because I can't put them down. Though I am mostly enjoying them.

I was put off this series by the titles and theme which implied coercive relationships and perhaps a heavy dose of Mills and Boon. However, I read another book by this author which linked to this book at the end. That indicated this wasn't the direction taken in this particular book and I really enjoyed the other book by the same author, so I thought I'd give it a go.

I'm not intending to read all of these stories, just dip in and out over the Christmas period. And the price of the kindle version is sufficiently low that it should be worth it even if I only read a few that I enjoy.
