If you have seen the movie Tombstone you need to read this book. There is so much more to the story of Wyatt Earp. All of the brother's 'marriages', Wyatt's relationship with the 'showgirl'. Then there is Ike Clanton, not the buffon portrayed in the movie, but a conniving evil man.
As an aside, you may want to check out the 6 part series on Netflix.
