I'm enjoying this...it 'is' politically incorrect but it is also a lot of fun and weirdly compelling. Just finished the fourth story. Recommended...so far.

For zombie fiction it's good for drug lit. It's barely passable....the first third of the book had some great throwaway line but the book now has settled down into stolid cliché.

David is 50% done with Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore (Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, #1)

The book is not as good as I thought it would or could have been. Mostly (spoiler alert) it is concerned with a bureaucratic disagreement in a secret society...which is bordering on the tediously banal. The real problem with the book is its obsession about being an ūber-geek narrative drunk on contemporary tech. This renders it obsolete in a very short period of time....maybe it's worth 3 stars
