Although I'm getting a nice review of the Spanish Civil War from one perspective, the book is not a gripping read and I find myself wandering to other reads quite often even while I am familiar with many of the places of which the author speaks.

Lost my place and since I've forgotten my Periodic Table am starting over!

so far not too enamored with this book, hoping it improves but considering how far I am into the book, I haven't much hope.
