I am going to make paste of myself on the pavement I am so bored + annoyed with the prose + sick to death of how flat the characters are.

Oh no, I think I’m that person who doesn’t get the hype of the thing people have been hyping about for the past six months.

I'm going to stop here because I know I'll resent myself if I keep going and sunk cost fallacy sets in. Wildly mismatched tones, too many em-dashes, and I know I'll pull my hair out before the end. Stopping is self-care at this point 😔💅

I like a good em-dash as much as the next girl, but there are *a lot* in here 🤨

Hnng why does no one in this book act like a real person??? The book is pretty shallow in terms of shifting psychologies, and Anoor took stupid pills at some point I cannae deal.
