“When you’re scared but you still do it anyway, that’s brave” (57).

Totally action-packed!

I wonder if it would have been more exciting to not see the behind-the-scenes, and be as surprised as the characters the plot is happening to. Still magnificent, but just a thought I had.

This is such a fun book to reread. I'm picking up on things that I didn't see the first time I read it, and I like being able to compare to the new TV show (which is amazing!).

I’ve always wondered what became of Mary, and now I wait no longer!

Before starting this book, I felt like the stigma behind mental health had been moving in a more positive direction. Now, I don't know what to think.

This is super heavy stuff.

“…who knows what the rules are in a fairy tale?”

I’m a little miffed about the whole Frankenstein thing. I’m trying to figure out if it was on purpose, or just showing the misunderstanding of the monster story.

I'm really confused at this point, so I'm hoping that things will start to clear up as I continue reading.

Very reminiscent of The Great British Baking Show, and I am here for it!

I’ve struggled to read some of Sanderson’s bigger series because of all the unnecessary exposition. This, however, was done perfectly. Not too much information; just the right amount to pique interest. I’m excited to see where Tress’ travels take her!

“…it seems as if I should be homesick for you even in heaven.”

Slowly, but surely.

Very slow going, but still witty and lovely.
