This is such a fun book to reread. I'm picking up on things that I didn't see the first time I read it, and I like being able to compare to the new TV show (which is amazing!).

I’ve always wondered what became of Mary, and now I wait no longer!

Before starting this book, I felt like the stigma behind mental health had been moving in a more positive direction. Now, I don't know what to think.

This is super heavy stuff.

I’m a little miffed about the whole Frankenstein thing. I’m trying to figure out if it was on purpose, or just showing the misunderstanding of the monster story.

I'm really confused at this point, so I'm hoping that things will start to clear up as I continue reading.

Very reminiscent of The Great British Baking Show, and I am here for it!

I’ve struggled to read some of Sanderson’s bigger series because of all the unnecessary exposition. This, however, was done perfectly. Not too much information; just the right amount to pique interest. I’m excited to see where Tress’ travels take her!

Very slow going, but still witty and lovely.

It’s so nice to listen to such a wholesome book. The shenanigans the girls get into is such fun, and it’s amazing to reflect on what was entertaining back then compared to now. I’ve been enjoying listening to this book while going on walks around the neighborhood.

The mystery of why these women were locked away is keeping me so intrigued that I want to skip to the end, but you can’t do that with an audiobook. For that I should be grateful, I guess. To keep it a mystery for now. It’s been keeping me awake on my commute, so I guess that’s a good thing!

This is the perfect road trip book! It carried us all the way and was so entertaining. His straight-faced, subtle, clean humor is the best!

What a beautifully engaging first line. I am already enthralled by the lore and I just want to keep reading, but it will have to wait for now.
