ok, now instead of history, we're getting loads of political discussion. I'm skimming past it all because, frankly, it puts me to sleep. I really want to know what's going to happen with the love stories, and I really wish that would happen already.

MORE exposition, but t least this time it was through dialogue. Can definitely relate to Carrie, who's obsessively writing this story with the genetic memories of her ancestor. Though, that was sort of glossed over a bit. My only complaint, now that history is out of the way, is that we're not really reminded of what people look like, other than their eyes. Also, I'm not sure I know what either heroine looks like. hm
