I am reading extremely slow. And playing two addictive new games these days.
So rest in peace my reading aspirations of this year 😂

Pretty interesting stuff, even though the MC isn't in space yet. The writer tells the story of species who are already in space and it makes this a space novel even though it would have been "Preparing to go to space" novel if not for the history of these warring space aliens.

I need to go back to reading a daily number of pages again.
My mind is always torn between everything and writing and I don't even write much in the end.

My reading is all over the place. I have no idea what I am doing lol
I have no idea what's the next novel I'll finiah I am just jumping between novels sampling bits and pieces of them.

Is it Dune time? My neck hurt me to read this much, I wonder if I get a gaming chair would it be good for reading too? 😂

Anyway, this is so good, and good thing I don't remember a lot from the movie and good thing I didn't watch the second movie.

Back to reading this, I also made some progress in multiple other novels in the past days that I didn't update here.
I don't know though, I feel this might end up as a series dnf for me, we will see.
I am most likely going to finish book 1 though.

First person viewpoint narration seems to be more popular than third person past tense narration.
I don't know man, I hope they don't play a huge factor in the market.

I don't know what to tell you guys but I started a new novel and I can't even tell you why I am jumping between novels like that.
I like the writing style of the author, I like that he gets away with the things he does even though it's not extremely easy to read (It's still easy for me, but sometimes it feels the market is looking for the easiest styles)
It's good despite I'm reading for space and no space yet

I'll probably finish this the next time I read it whenever that will be.
I think it's important when reading Barefoot Gen to remember that you are reading satire to some extent.
That way you won't be annoyed by the exaggerated caricature fights, because things like that are there to lighten the mood of a story that's very dark and heavy.
Like, we literally had someone dying each book so far, a family, a friend.

I feel listing all the elemental strengths and weaknesses and nulls is pretty useless and just a waste of space and inflating word count for no reason.

I know I keep starting books and not finishing them but my life is crazy (only inside my head)
I will eventually finish everything though, I promise!

I bet every cultivation novels reader at this point was like, why doesn't he learn the palm technique instead? 😂
I bet he will though, it's perfect for his predicament.
I wonder if he will find out its owner or find a manual for it.

I think by this point there is no shadow of a doubt that this is the real life story of Keiji Nakazawa himself but with different character names.

A start, ultimate underdog here, but I wonder if like many other novels in this genre he will become OP just because of this fruit he found.

Also got the flu and it knocked me out of commission for a little bit.
Meng Hao is in the core formation stage and he had everyone chasing him again but he also has an important ally.

It seems that doctor Tenma left his successful surgeon life behind to follow the serial killer boy.
He is torn after saving the life of a child only to learn that he was the one who killed his own parents and then went on to kill 3 other childless families that adopted him.
A monster that thrives on fear.
I still have no idea what's in store for us.
The sister though is extremely cute.

Will probably take me 3 days though with how slow I am reading.
I want to advance in other opened novels too lol
Anyway, it seems this is the final fight of the book, but I am more interested in the aftermath will it be in these 100 pages or in the next book which I will probably not read this year at all?

I expect two more days of reading this and it's all over.
Already Hammond found the hiding place of the terrorist animals, and killed the woman who was hiding them.
But it doesn't feel like we reached anything really.
This is a very weird story.
Maybe the very last pages will give us a sense of closure?

Page 66 Gen laughing maniacally as three spirals appear in the background, reminds me so much of Junji's Uzumaki 😂

About 60 pages left, if only i read a few daily I'd finish in a week.

I am very wasteful of time these days, but I am trying to take back control.
I keep buying things and disrupting the plans I had for the day.
Or trying to socialize when I should just focus on reading and working.

It's obvious it's earlier than 20th century boys but it's still so good.

Lol this is the best, but this means the solo journey of the monkey king is coming to an end very soon.

My mind hasn't been clear lately, and reading this graphic novel in this condition is a futile endeavor.
I am not sure I understood anything of the last 20 pages or so.
But it could also be because we don't know the people in these individual stories.
Like the girl who went to jail, or this story with the dog.
I don't think they are main characters in this novel!
