the characters are so good, i’m obsessed with all three of the Kauls (Lan is my fav tho he has so much aura 😌)

this is soooo cool

this is everything i love about middle grade

guys anthropology is not my thing i cannot

you can usually guess my current mental state by the target age of the books i’m reading

shut up they’re so cute i can’t (ive missed themmm)

this is so nostalgic omg

picked this up bc the author makes her own gorgeous illustrations for this series on her insta and i wanted to see what this was about

but if i took a shot every time i the MC started a sentence with "Maybe other people wouldn't..." and then proceeded to do what any regular person would do, i might be having a better time right now

this book is actually so funny and i am in love with mina

and i was so hoping there wouldn't be romance...

the not like other girls energy is stronger than anything i have witnessed in yearsss

you know when you can tell an author really prides themselves on their MC...

how did i never know that Shannon Hale had a short story on my babygirl Darling Charming

i swear middle-grade fantasy is easier to get into these days than YA

living for their dynamic

this first chapter is physically painful, i'll never get over how relatable ann liang's characters are

and whyis GR now adding books I don't even have shelved to my reading challenge.
