picked this up bc the author makes her own gorgeous illustrations for this series on her insta and i wanted to see what this was about

but if i took a shot every time i the MC started a sentence with "Maybe other people wouldn't..." and then proceeded to do what any regular person would do, i might be having a better time right now

this book is actually so funny and i am in love with mina

i swear middle-grade fantasy is easier to get into these days than YA

this first chapter is physically painful, i'll never get over how relatable ann liang's characters are
