Why write this as an M/M when one character is basically a woman? Makes no sense.

I’m already bored. I was spoiled by New Species many years ago and sadly, nothing can top that. This being a spin off of another series is also not helping. I might come back to it later.

The author mentioned this book hasn't been well received - THIS, this part right here is where I hit my "eeewwww, I don't know if I want to read this book". Not sure if I'm going to finish it but I'm at 7% now and it's not really doing it for me.

chapter 3 of the audio and I have thoughts. Graves is giving me all the voices, nice. the plot is interesting for now, but come on, quantum physics in romance?

Idk how long I’ve been trying to read this. VERY slow burn, nothing terribly exciting is happening. Granted it’s 400 pages so there is plenty of time but man, not sure if I’m gonna make it.

Nope, not reading this until next year because I’ve decided to wait for Ferraioulo to read them to me, I’m even saving two credits for them.

This is boring me. I know Archer’s writing style & pace has always been a bit of a struggle for me so really, I should know better.

can't lie, this one is not pulling me in, something about it is not clicking for me. will have to come back to it later.

About a third of the way in, and with one phrase I can almost see the way the way this will play out.

Holy shit. Ok. See … damn. I have SO many thoughts, there is so damn much happening, the least predictable book I have read in a long time.

All I can say is I will forever be grateful for my library card. No way I wanted to pay $6 for this book, even if it is weird and violent and crazy in the best of ways - so far.
