I got half way through and lost interest, it just doesn’t hold me, and I’m sorry because I had such expectations.

From the blurb description I was so sure I would love this - the main character is the son of the Big Bad Wolf who’s doing time for what happened to Little Red Riding Hood! Had to be a winner, right? Wrong. I got to Chapter 11 and have up because it was still meh at that point and life is too short.

Another entertaining read. Flavia's personality is really built up in this book, with a little more of her child shining through.

Blooming brilliant!

I knew from the first couple of pages that I wouldn't be able to put this down. The understated horrors of the beginning had me re-reading before moving on. I realised in short order that the basis for the book is that of zombies having overrun the populace and despite being not in the least interested in that subject I find its already too late because Melanie had me hooked from the off!
