There's A LOT to resolve with only 30% book left... I smell a saga, but there's no indication of one (keep in mind I have done very little digging because I don't want to read spoilers).

Seeing what all the fuss is about.... And so far I'm captivated. Probably because I find the similarities between the traditional Beauty and the Beast and this beginning of Feyres' story so similar. We shall see!

This is so very frustrating. They know the o-rings are going to fail. They KNOW it. With hard data confirmation.... They (NASA and Thiokol) knowingly killed 7 crew members. While there are other factors involved, it's all negligence and arrogance.

Dr. Sacks' description of his time in Canada is beautiful and idyllic, but probably accurate for the time (1960). It's lovely to see through his eyes. Especially his description of Calgary and surrounding areas (including Banff, so far).

I'm seriously disappointed on the focus of this book so far. Wonder Woman is mostly spoken of in the ethereal until around this point. I also find Marston a useless twat of a husband and human. While not cruel, he's charming, disarming, manipulative and a liar. He's a loser. I am still hoping for more of the dynamics of the relationship between the two strong women in his world...

Talking about the physiological changes measured not only in the brain but the effects on behaviour and why you can't just "get over" trauma or PTSD. Fascinating book. I'm enjoying it very much.

This is my second go in this book. I didn't finish last time because the library (it's popular and they only carry one copy for the whole island!?!). And I still don't know how if a ball and bat cost $1.10, where the bat is $1 more than the ball, how scientifically the ball only costs 5¢. And I'm still mad about it. Because math. And I can't find a satisfactory answer on the interwebs... That is all.

It's taking me too long to get through this and now someone at work told me it doesn't end so well. I mean. Bunnies have a short lifespan, so I figured that night be the case but I also know this isn't a story about bunnies....

Takes on a 'gas chambers as means of destruction of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust' denier on a Neo-Nazi slanted historical tour of concentration camps and A) isn't caught B) doesn't die.

Intersectionality, privilege, affirmative action, school to prison pipeline.... It's all the heavy stuff. But it's brilliantly laid out.
