Pausing my other books for an audio reread of this one. I need a book I like to kick my brain out of this weird reading slump.

Ugh I hate PDA

The time jumps and pacing of this book are so bad

Also, all this subterfuge to the audience is annoying bc like… it’s almost def the stepmom is The One and the dad is the abuser, yeah? Like all the talking around it is kinda annoying.

Ok I am in no way on Shane’s side here bc she sucks but um… Megan… you’re literally going off to sex parties and cheating on her? And you’re mad that she’s “ruining your sex odyssey?” This book is just so odd and these characters all suck

Like… girl, she just got confirmation of an incredible loss and said “I need space” and then you bombarded her with texts and then showed up unannounced? Like. Yeah I get that there is this through line of Charlotte running when scared that’s not great but also, like, let ppl grieve how they want?
