Time for a reread ahead of the movie!

Time for a re-listen as I attempt to plot my next story ahead of NaNoWriMo.

WHAT.

I'm actually quite enjoying this. I'm glad I gave it a shot regardless of reviews. Wonder if my opinion will change by the end. Sure, it's not high literature, but that's not what I expect from a thriller, anyway.

It's been 12 years since I last read this - time for a refresher in audiobook form!

Can you no longer update reading progress under currently reading? I want to mark what pages I was up to by the end of the year in my current reads ...

I am SO MAD

If I don't care about a single one of these characters 100 pages in, it's time to call it. I was stoked about this concept, too.

I don't have the willpower to finish this at the moment. Oops.

Definitely lots of errors and some confusing writing/stylistic choices. This book could have used a much more thorough editing before being published. But I'm still curious enough about the story (and starved enough for main character bi representation in fantasy/romance!) that I'm continuing on.

Finally continuing my first Stephen Fry audio run through.

Going in for a reread!

I am 110 pages into them just sitting in this keep and talking. Someone please tell me this goes somewhere soon.

Wow. I might just listen to this in one sitting.
