I think Gary Hendrix is V overrated. I read Southern Vampires and found it lacking. There are better horror writers out there!

Grady Hendrix’s books will probably all be Netflix movies very soon though. I’m hoping the movies are better.

I DNFed that one too. Both books had great premises but I found the characters lacking and grating.
