It’s so interesting and intense to read the protagonist’s view. It’s so exciting and my body reacts very strongly to the writing. But I want him to fail so badly. He’s such an egotistical asshole who has just turned into a true monster. I hate him so much.

While the other Levin novels took quite a while to get into, this one was instant in comparison. Compelling from the get-go.

I’m liking this a lot.

Although Penny feels positively about her rehoming it just feels so odd, even off, in a way. The people there are weird. I kinda like Jack. Is she being delulu or is there something wrong going on?
