I've been stuck on this book for an eternity. It's a little too YA in structure for me, although the content isn't necessarily that? I'm struggling is what i mean, because I don't really like reading "quest" or adventure fantasy.

This is inching closer and closer to the DNF pile. I've rifled through the first 20% with huge effort, starting and stopping about 20x already and I don't see what should interrest me about this book yet. It is Anna Delvey but less intriguing even thought he stakes are supposedly higher...

I knew I would like this and I wasn't wrong! So cutting! I feel very called out as someone chronically online. I'm looking forward to reading the rest... I've just come to Kant's story and I hope I'll find it as interesting as the two stories before.

I'm not far into it but I enjoy the writing style. The chapters are super short, a little like vignettes, but tie together well. Even though everything is very curt or tight, we learn a ton about the characters. I feel very pulled into the story and want to read more!

The plot is slow but the anticipation is close to too much. I wanted a good audiobook to fall asleep to and this is NOT it! The first part was fine but I think it's getting to the point where our girl is walking dangerously close to the abyss and I dread the moment she decides to jump in. Because she is already so eager to! An aside: I love that she is involving her husband at least right now
