I had always meant for this to be an account where I post a review for everything I read, but before I dropped reading I had read several books I didn't have time to review because exams were swamping me. Now at this point I can't even remember those books, so I can't write reviews for them. 🙁🙁

So uhh..... It's been over a year since I read a novel, and I just picked up my first one since my hiatus yesterday. Last year university finally overwhelmed me and I ended up dropping books entirely. I was no longer reading for enjoyment, but to write reviews.

I'm going to try to pick up reading again at a slower pace, and maybe start smaller challenges again. Wish me luck ☺

It ended up being pretty good. I don't think I enjoyed it as much as the first one from what I remember, but it was really satisfying.

I'm liking the pace this is going at. It hasn't slowed down at all, and the interactions between them just keep getting better.

I'm excited to see where this is going. Their interactions together are pretty amusing.

I was looking for a short guilty pleasure book, so I'm glad I remembered that this series exists. I read the first one and liked it, so I have high hopes for this one.

I'm glad that book is over. I found it really boring, and it was a struggle to continue reading. The characters didn't appeal to me at all, and I feel like we spent way too much time doing nothing.

I really want this book to be over. It seems far too long, and there isn't anything happening that interests me. This might be a case of wrong book wrong person, but I just can't get into it at all. Hopefully I can be finished with it tomorrow.

I've gotten really bored with this book. Nothing much is happening, and Matthew is unfortunately getting more annoying. A few secrets keeps things mysterious, but a lot of secrets just makes a character irritating.

I'm pretty bored right now. The premise is interesting enough, but I'm not invested in the main character. Matthew seems interesting, mostly because he has so much information I want to know about.

The epilogue had a bit of a surprise, but other than that the ending wasn't that great. I was hoping for more from this book based on my first impressions, but I was a bit disappointed.

While the beginning had me hooked, I'm losing interest as it goes on, to be honest. Some stuff is happening but it isn't enough to keep me wanting to turn pages.

The ending was okay, didn't really like that they ended up lying to everyone else. The book still overall felt unsatisfying, like we were going in circles for at least half of the book.

I'm liking it so far. The style reminds me of Illuminae, because of all the interviews and case files. The story has me interested, so at this point I have high hopes. It doesn't seem like the pace will slow down, so I have the feeling that I will like this one.

I'm not really sure why we took such a big detour from the main story. Maybe it means more to people who have read every book in the series (if so, my bad) but from my perspective it feels like it doesn't add anything.

That book was a pretty big disappointment. While I don't remember the particulars of the first book, I know I enjoyed it a lot more than this one. I really don't think this book was necessary, and it could have ended at the first book without all this other stuff.

I'm still pretty bored. I would say that maybe this genre just doesn't hold my focus, but I've been successful with it before. We still just seem to be going in circles even if we are technically progressing.

It was a pretty satisfying read. I grew to really appreciate the characters, and I liked how everything came together from beginning to end. I didn't expect what happened right at the end, but it was a pleasant surprise.

I love Nik so very much. At first I thought he was annoying but I've grown to love him a lot. Hanna is also getting better and better.

Genuinely didn't expect that twist. I was pretty surprised to find out. I hope everything turns out okay.

It seems good so far, got into the action pretty fast. Hanna is an interesting character. At first she seemed really bratty, but she's becoming more likeable as the book goes on.

The ending was actually my favourite part of the book. It was a bit bittersweet, and wrapped things up nicely. The whole concept of the Hempstocks was never fully explained, but it was enough, I think.

While this book isn't bad, I'm definitely losing interest. It just seems like the plot isn't going anywhere, even though it is a little. I think this book just isn't for me.

This has been interesting enough to keep me reading, but it still feels like it's missing something. It does make sense since it's from a child's perspective, but I want a bit more of something.

I have no idea what's going on, to be honest. I suppose Lettie and her family are witches. I'm curious to see where this story will be going.
