The ending was okay, didn't really like that they ended up lying to everyone else. The book still overall felt unsatisfying, like we were going in circles for at least half of the book.

I'm not really sure why we took such a big detour from the main story. Maybe it means more to people who have read every book in the series (if so, my bad) but from my perspective it feels like it doesn't add anything.

I'm still pretty bored. I would say that maybe this genre just doesn't hold my focus, but I've been successful with it before. We still just seem to be going in circles even if we are technically progressing.

I'm pretty bored so far. The idea is fine, but it doesn't feel like we're going anywhere. Also, there's a serial killer but things don't feel very pressing to me.
