For someone so prolific, the writing is embarrassing. She describes the wind as "soft" twice in the same sentence. The romance is gross, feels like a lechery old man wrote it.

I don't understand. If the guy who gave her the information to code is there, and the guy she's giving the code to is there, why can't the guy who gave her the information just tell the guy who needs the information? Why can't she just tell him instead of writing it into code? This seems unnecessarily complicated.

Wow! She didn't tell her date that her mother was a junkie and she met her dad for the first time when was 14? But it's her favorite subject! How did possibly contain herself?

Can someone please explain to me how Constance leaves her house to follow her husband, gets on the train leaving Chicago's Union Station, accidentally kills him, then buys a return ticket for New Orleans and walks into her house in NOLA (that she'd just left that morning) saying she'd just been at a meeting?

There's a preface, acknowledgements, a foreword, and an introduction, and in the second sentence of the actual book, he spells "sordid" as "sorted." I almost burst out laughing in public.
