Still trudging through this. Every time I think something won't turn out to be a total ripoff of LOTR, I'm wrong.

Seriously WTF. This is such a ripoff of Tolkien's work! Climbing in the tree like Bilbo, getting attacked by the Watcher? Ringwraiths! I swear, if using the Elfstones tells the goddamned wraiths where he is, I'm gonna scream.

So far, it reads like a poor man's LOTR.
