Whew, didn't realize that would be a hard chapter. It's always the simple things that seem the most difficult.

Really enjoying the concept and delivery of this book.

Although I greatly recommend supporting our libraries, this is one of those books I wish I had bought instead because there are so many sentences I need to highlight!

One chapter in and I've already been prodded by sound wisdom. This book is going to hurt but it's so good and necessary!

I feel for Meri, I really do, because when you have that desire for marriage and love it can be so heartbreaking to watch others walking into their "happily ever after"... But she needs to stop thinking a relationship is going to complete her and fix all her problems. I'm hoping she lets go of her jealousy and realizes the call is coming from inside the house.

Loving this story so far! Meri and Kai are the perfect two for witty banter and bad Dad jokes.

Low-key wondering why the book is called "Husband Auditions" and not "Meri Me". I mean, she's been on one official date so far, so we can't really call these auditions.

I switched over to audiobook because I don't trust myself T-T

That 30% hump was annihilated because this book just keeps getting better and better, however it's due in 7 days and I'm starting to sweat 😭

On a mysteriously terraformed planet with undocumented creatures, little shelter and resources, and the ever dwindling hope of rescue, they still manage to throw in "there was only one bed" and I'm HERE for it!

I'm approaching the 30% hump (the part of every book where I'll know for sure if I'll either finish it or DNF it) and I have a good feeling I'll make it over this one! This continues to be an exciting, well written read!

This book is so well written with nice pacing and incredible characters, I think I just found a diamond in the ruff!
