I just started reading this book, found it online! I hope this is similar to the movie. The movie was amazing and inspiring. I have never read a book by Michael Lewis, but so far its not bad. I think I'm going to enjoy this book!

I haven't had the time to read, but when I get the time, this book is amazing. I would say that I like the Fountainhead better but this is another amazing book by Rand. Dangy Taggart's brilliant management style and unwavering commitment to the railroad enable her to remain in the world of the “looters.”

If you think the Fountainhead was really long, well this one is longer! The writing is so deep and detailed that it takes time to understand the text. Dagney Taggart is a very similar character to that of Peter Keating and Dominique Francon. She has struggles with both her job and her relationships. It looks like Rand likes those type of characters and type of plots where the protagonist goes through hard times.

this book is a little boring in the beginning, but it seems like it will be getting better the more I get into the book.

I am reading about the 1900's right now. It is going to be interesting to see Traboulsi's point of view on the recent history that happened last decade. I am more familiar about the 1900's history then the previous history that I was reading about. There are still people living who experienced these problems that Traboulsi is talking about right now. I want to see what new and different history I learn this chapter.

I have not had the opportunity to get more reading done. But I am learning a whole lot about the history of Lebanon. The past history of the country has basically lead up to most of the conflicts that have occurred in the 21st century and that are going on right now.

This is a very interesting book so far. I have learned a lot like how the Jumblatt family history goes a long way back. The conflict between the people of Mount Lebanon like in the Shouf started in the 1500's and since then has been an ongoing conflict that wont stop. History has repeated itself several times in Lebanon and it is interesting to read about the history from the 1500's that not many people about.

This book was recommended to me. It is a book about the old history of Lebanon starting from the year 1523. It is interesting to learn about my new home and the Lebanese culture. I have always learned about the United States history because I was living there but I am inspired to learn about the history of my homeland.

Kathy is about to talk about her last days at Hailsham, I wonder what is going to happen with the students and Miss Geraldine?
