Wanted to read this for some time hoping to get some insight in Canadian culture.

A tough read, a dead child and missing mother. Each chapter jumps between past and present which builds suspense but not in a way that holds my interest.

I love this series. Great characters in believable situations. Where else can you get a great story and a recipe for jalapeno apricot jelly!

I've always had a fascination for the Pacific NW and this police series is set in Seattle. It is described as a cop novel that's really about people.

An easy unsatisfying read. I find the main character Beth Hartley uninteresting and rather dull. The book was tedious in its description of what she ate or what she was cooking...none of it appealing. Not sure if I will read anything else by this author.

I like the way this book is organized and it's an easy read.

A new series for me. Set in North Carolina and something I've had a passing interest in...quilting.

Highly recommend this breed book for any owner enchanted by their dog. The enclosed DVD is all about dog training so anyone having a challenge should find it helpful.
