Well I thought maybe the translation was bad but it appears those reading it in French thinks it’s terrible too!

So far the best part is ripping the chapter open each day. Obviously no editor involved.

I quit reading it. What could have been a great historical fiction was a compilation of “would have been”, “could have been”, “might have been”
I became frustrated by the author’s suppositions and lack of cohesiveness that I gave up. Pity there’s a great story in there. Try again
