Amusing so far. although I don't get the purpose of Cai? He's fun but isn't her entire goal supposed to be excessive spending and tanking her family's reputation? But he's mocking her for doing things that cost a lot of money and are less than legal? I mean we all know it's not going to work having read the blurb, but is this suppose to be reverse psychology? like she does something good it backfires and vice versa?

why are these MC's such determined idiots when it comes to romance? It is really freaking obvious he likes you.

I read another fairy tale based on Esther previously, and as much as I enjoyed that one. so far, this one has truly caught my attention.

Also why's he already on a wife and kids, you just found out she likes you, she was looking for other men while in a relationship, that isn't a red flag for you?

obviously this author does not write romances well. The MC as typical of these type is oblivious to the feelings of the girls around him, not to mention he comes across as weak willed. Right now though why's she mad he likes someone else. She's in a committed relationship. It's commendable he didn't consider her romantically. It's sketchy on her part she's sending signals while dating someone else.

Did he ever pay for the year's almanac? last I remember he only paid for the summer.

Hold it last chapter he said the fence was finished. A couple pages later and it's not finished? Wasn't Leonard supposed to be leaving? I think I'm only going to finish this book because I'm behind on my challenge

the random zombie onions were different but overall, I'm bored with this one. So far the story is just okay the MC is a bit meh
