Ok my originally theory is probably wrong so how is Birdies story connected to "Eden".
Also the Deathday company and the woman who died twice, adding even more cool elements to an already interesting story.

So i saw this as part of Goodreads 2026 Must Read and having now seen one adaption and read another i have been getting into Alice's books.
The premise of this is fantastic.
Could Eden be a sick Birdie thinking she's Eden hmmm hard to tell but I am very intrigued.

"There was still the question of daysdeath’s birth. The Forever King’s death. A few scant hours remained bfore the sun set on this pair for the last time...and he supposed he owed them a decent finale.. drew a deep breath, the taste of an ending in the air. ‘Finish it,’ the vampire said."

I am so fuckint hyped for the real ending to our tale that I was tempted to stay up beyond 4am to finish it.

I expected those 3 deaths, it is the end of a trilogy afterall but I am in denial about one, please be a unreliable narrator fibbing.

The reveal of why the big bad wants the holy grail seems so obvious but not one I guessed and how it lead to a betrayal I emphasise with

The steam was probably the smartest thing I have ever seen in any vampire story, honestly cinematic as fuck.
