Right we have finally gotten through the back of the book synopsis.

Not a gasp worthy twist but what a great turn, making this world and magic system more brutal and sexiest. I feel way more invested and intrigued to carry on.

Oooh we are getting a class divided love story huh

Just need to get past all the stuff im aware of because of the Apple tv trailer but already very intriguing fast moving book.

Feels good to have a much shorter story to whizz through.

I do admit the Khan Sagara stuff has always been one of the most interesting parts of the series.

Nice little reveal

The poltical intrigue made these 100 pages fly much quicker. But again do we need a book over a thousand pages.

I must admit I have struggled with this book (its nearly 1000 pages) but it did pick up about 300 or so pages in with the arrival of the God.
Now were off for some good old fashioned political intrigue

Right aliens have showed up and are trying to capture a god, only took it a few 100 pages to pick up haha.

Dont know why im taking so long with this one, its picked up a bit but god it definitely feels that its the longest book (which at nearly 1000 pages on Kindle it is)
