Hes really making us like the characters so much more in this book but making them suffer :(

There are so many mysteries being set up and plot seems to be moving along quite quickly.

Little overshadowed at the moment with how good book 2 of Empire of the Vampire, clash is hard but nice to be into two possible 5 star reads

From 202 to 335 we aren't with our leading man at all and still i couldn't stop reading. This section was brutal and trying to figure out how they get out of this situation has me keen to read on. Better pacing and villians than the previous book

I didnt think i would care so much about the cruel fate that has befallen a certain character who started off as a Dickhead in book 1.

Also just me or are the villians better in this book

Also damn the consequence of being turned but with Silver Tattoos, got to be the darkest thing so far in this series.

Such a good opener. The what Davian may be (and connection to the history of the world) and having to run off, Chapter 5s massacre Aftermath, a main characters memories tweaked with and then later lied to about the fate of her friends, the prologue character being responsible for the Hunter saving their lives, if the rest of the book is this good I am in for a treat

Will this other Narrator be as good?

Honestly very good opening, you are hearing about the world but only learning what it all means in drips and draps and its moving at a good steady pace

Finally. After such a depressing overly long section of Sadness and torture these last few chapters have picked up speed.

Just gonna take a little break, 1st Vol was intriguing but its getting a little complicated, lots to read and i really don't like the art style, little break but will come back to it.

Everyone said it was dark but this is depressingly dark to the point where its dragging a little.

I know this book gets dark but Surely it will be more than just "they all died"
