Picking up now we have got to TraumaLand

Malice was quite slow whereas this Gwynne book is moving much faster, with a very fascinating Norse inspired world.
From Thralls (slaves) Seiðr-witches, Dead Gods and The Tainted (godspawn) this world has an interesting history and things are already starting to kick off action wise.

Cant remember if the reveal about Healeys daughter in law is new or happened last book, very good if not slightly soap operatic.

After reading the previous 13 books I thought id try the audiobook.

Weaver always setting up a unique mystery,
3 documentary crew members going missing over 20 years ago and a woman's husband not being the man underneath the bandages after his surgery.

How are these both connected?

Although the 2026 film wasnt as bad as I thought it would be i still feel it wasted potential. I dont want abuse shown as horny romance i wanted to see what these toxic characters inflicted upon one another so let's give the book a go.
