Feels less well thought out as house party, which I read before this. Lots of tiny mistakes in the flow of the story: being somewhere else, double describing tiny events (putting stuff in a pocket), time going by weird. Als the characters don’t seem to be very believable. Let’s see where this goes..

I understand we need some build up, but damn this is almost 70% of mostly misery. I read these books for fun, not frustration…

The “troubles” are really far fetched. So when you leave everyone and move to London, your parents will be able to sell the house they bought, which they couldn’t afford?! And the bad guy is going to send you flowers with an evil note?

I’m thinking. It’s just a bit far fetched? The constant pining. The “everything wonderful and marvelous” etc etc..

Loved it at the start.. liking it a bit less and less as the book progresses.

I like where this is going. It’s not the easy breezy happy peppy love story I was expecting - in the best way possible.
I just hope it doesn’t end with a cop-out explanation as to why he left and never reached out again, but I think and hope that ship has sailed…
