On and on and on, about what each of the friends had for breakfast and in what clothes... Also, very much stereotypes: the academic, the business woman, the emotional hippie and of course the man-eater. I wouldn't have thought it would be so one dimensional. The men are nowhere to be seen so far, except West, who is more like a shell. They are the only reason to live for the women?

Very tedious... Could be good but just so long, I wish it would be more condensed...

11 hours done, 8 to go... I think my loan and three times renewal runs out before I can finish. It's not too bad, the story behind the elaborated writing, but just tedious to peel all the layers of fluff off....

2/5 through but only the historic part done. It's so boring. I can't imagine how you read this book when you haven't read the first one and are interested in the history of them ...

I know, I wasn't a big fan of Belly and her love triangle... still, it seems to be a quick listening... Belly is still annoying but at least Conrad is out of the picture

Where is this going? A bit of magic (but it's not about that), a bit of girl power (but it's not about that), a bit of Spanish inquisition (but it's not about that), a bit of antisemitism (but it's not about that)...?

Oh my, the audio narrator has a terrible Scottish accent which makes it super hard for me to understand....

Nothing new so far... All the science behind it, I get it and I hope there are actual examples following. But I don't know how to get the pdf in the audiobook :(

Just finished an audio book with a Scottish accent, I hope this one's not another...

45 mins in from 7.5 hours total and I'm contemplating to quit. Is it the third person narrative or are the characters just so boring? I don't like the emotionless narrative. There are 'big' things happening (losing virginity) and it's just meh. Why are they even attracted to each other?

Not particularly boring but I can see the twist waving at the finish line like mad. Clary's dad died 15 years ago/Valentine is dead since 15 years after he killed his wife and baby? What a coincidence.... Dead or not dead? Of course not.
