I am by no means even half as smart as anyone in this book and I've read it before so I have background knowledge the characters don't have but.....come on this world is literally called three body and there are three "stars" in the sky and you can't predict the stable eras....how hard can it be to figure out the problem with this world?

I'm really not into detective stories but I'm really into the author's characters. So that's an interesting reading experience.
