Can luo ji please continue to hibernate, I did not miss him

"no one here understands me" truly is the funniest thing he could say after the entire government just crashed out about his plan to pretty much destroy our universe

They give unlimited resources and the permission to do whatever they want without having to explain themselves in order to save humanity from aliens to a bunch of deranged people and then wonder when said people invent new crimes against humanity

As much as I love these books, I hate Luo Ji so much, it genuinely makes it hard to get through the first half of the book

I know most people read this book for the romance which is entirely valid. Me on the other hand, I came here for the tragedy. I came to cry. And the book is delivering! Yippee!

The combined self esteem of Xie Lian and Hua Cheng is in the negatives

The flashback books are like: and now we interrupt our little adventure story to give you ✨trauma✨

This whole 'becoming a supreme ghost king' sounds so sinister but from what I've gathered, hua cheng just spent 10 years really getting into arts and crafts

"Woman truly reaching to justify this particular dude" vibea and the woman in question is Xie Lian

Funniest intervention ever. Xie Lian is not cooperating at all

Credit to mu qing and feng xin for not giving up on trying to rescue xie lian after discovering hua cheng has been stalking him for 800 years and build an entire cave full of statues of him and xie lian straight up told them: "aren't we all 'not normal' in some way?"

On the other hand this is great representation of having a crush behaviour. So glad I'm over that ✨
