So far, better than the the first book and the prequel that I read prior to this installment of Elric's adventures. The second half of the book feels more polished and more engaging than the first half.

Kirk Carver is on page 87 of 272 of Chatter: The Voice in Our Head, Why It Matters, and How to Harness It
So far, most of what Kross writes is not a revelation to me... especially the technique of referring to oneself in the second person to gain distance and clarity. I owe that technique to being involved with sports most of my life, and I think other athletes who had good coaches will echo this. What I did find interesting was that I don't "chatter" as other people, or at least how he describes it early in the book.

Kirk Carver
Kirk Carver is on page 75 of 181 of Elric of Melniboné (The Elric Saga, #1)
The prose flows like honey, and you can actually feel the wind, the storm blowing, the city in decline, and the sadness of the main character.

Kirk Carver is 80% done with Forget the Alamo: The Rise and Fall of an American Myth
The authors cite too few of their assumptions, and in two cases have made errors with respect to references. Still, I've learned a couple of things... but not what the authors may have intended.
