So far, this is REALLY good! I'm loving it!

So far this book is so engrossing. The story is interesting, but the way Helen writes is what I really love. She has a beautiful way of explaining her heart through this hawk.

The passages about the separation between mothers and their children tear my heart out. I couldn't imagine being kept from my child. I'm more interested now that I'm further into the book. I see snippets that inspired moments in the show, too. It's mostly well written, too. Sometimes things are worded in ways that make the author seem inexperienced with expressing herself, but it's far and few.
