This one surprised me by how much I loved it -

Keep waking up last night and had this on my kindle still, so restarted it :)

Feel no need to read Book 4, so moving on to this one to read about Molly.

The writing is really turning me off. This author needs to work on “showing not telling” among other things. It’s a bummer because I’m intrigued by the storyline and the characters but I’m not sure I can keep reading.

It's my birthday - what should I read today?? I need something funny, happy, and preferably filled with hockey players!

Didn’t realize that this series is THE prequel to CU and Puckboys….so reading it now

I’m 5hrs into this and am not sure I have another 12 of listening in me.

I stayed up way too late to finish US….then dove right into this one and stayed up even later….

Cute - Andi Arndt is a good narrator!

This book is so dumb!!!!! 1) Nico was raised in the Midwest from age 5 (if not from birth) - how in the world does he have a thick Italian accent when he was part of the Us school system??? 2) I’m 75% through this dumb, boring book (because reviewers said that it gets better & I ❤️ Penny Reid) and Elizabeth is surprised when Nico speaks Italian? WTF??? So, he has a thick accent but no Italian lang? So DUMB!

I definitely laughed out loud!! Super cute :)

It’s always bittersweet to end an enjoyable series! Sure, The mysteries aren’t super hard to figure out, but somehow the characters and the story is so enjoyable that I am always engrossed!!


So excited to hear that a spin off series is happening!

Around 2.5, but rounding up to 3, since I actually finished it. There are some funny moments.

After reading a bunch of the reviews, I was going to skip this book. However, I decided to listen anyway and I’m glad I did! The writing is stifled/cheesy in places, the narrator’s man voice is far from my favorite, but there were some super funny lines that made me burst out laughing & made me glad I stuck it out - enough that I’m rounding up to 4 from 3.5

I may be in the minority, but I enjoyed this book quite a bit! It is more subtle/quiet than the others, but that’s probably one of the things I liked most. Rosalyn Landor is perhaps my fave narrator,
Especially for historical lit!!

Not sure I’ll get through this book - I absolutely HATE that little sister, ugh.

This book was great until about Ch 23-24, at which point I had some major eye-rolling at the overly dramatic scenes. Now I just want this to end.
